Just after completing work on X-COM Aplocalypse,
I was asked to work on top down view 3D software renderer for Magic & Mayhem
(like the one in the origanal Grand Theft Auto) that was never used.
For a laugh, I made Throb using an early version of the blitting routines.
Throb is graphics demo for DOS, of the headache inducing kind. It should run under Windows, but sometimes it doesn't. If you experience problems, try running it after a clean reboot, or booting to DOS. Throb is best enjoyed in a darkened room, at 3am, with the stereo pumping out loud techno. |
